Feel free to browse our website and  take a look at our Court’s history, activities, and programs (hover over or click on the event or activity on our calendar for more details about the event.)  We are an active and well recognized group within the Catholic Communities of St. Charles Borromeo (St. Charles), Holy Redeemer (Eyota) and St. Aloysius (Elba) as well as the communities the three churches serve in Southeastern MN.

 

Court Meetings are the Second Thursday of the MonthAugust through November, then switching to the second Saturday of the Month-December through March (to accommodate better driving conditions and membership,) then returning to the second Thursday-April through May/June.  See Meetings & Programs page for details and for other Court events.

The purpose of the organization is to participate in the religious, charitable and educational Apostolates of the Church. Catholic daughters of the Americas engages in creative and spiritual programs which provide its members with the opportunity to develop their God-given talents in a meaningful way to positively influence the welfare of the church and all peoples throughout the world.

 

         Adopted at the National Board Meeting       Linthicum, MD     March 21, 2014

WHEREAS, Pope Francis has called an Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, at the Vatican October 2014; and

WHEREAS, the theme is “The Pastoral Challenges of the Family in the Context of Evangelization;” and

WHEREAS, the People of God, lay, clerical, and consecrated have participated in the preparation for the meeting through practical suggestions and the support of prayer; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that all Catholic Daughters of the Americas join in prayer for the success of the synod and that Pope Francis may serve the People of God in truth and in love.
